The year is 2018. Hip hop is on a continuous winning streak dominating the music industry for the past two decades, influencing historical levels of culture throughout the world. With Virgil Abloh named creative director of menswear for Louis Vuitton, and Daniel Day in partnership with Gucci, the feeling of Déjà Vu slowly creeps down the spine.
The “So Ghetto” Collection is inspired by the pioneers of the fashion world during the 1970’s & 80’s in America, while highlighting the origins of ready to wear fashion in poverty stricken neighborhoods; better known as “street wear.”
