LONG LIVE G BABY

The lack of quality education and health care hinders the cognitive development of the inner city youth across America. With little to no resouces in their communities, underprivileged youth are forced to grow up fast and fight for survival. For some, the daily fight for survival wins and consumes their light of hope with complete darkness.

The “Long Live G Baby” collection is inspired by children lost to gun violence throughout the inner cities of America and baseball cult film, “Hard Ball,” staring Keanu Reeves and Dewayne Warren as “G-Baby.” The screenplay shines light on a group of underprivileged youth using little league baseball to escape the unfavorable circumstances of living in Chicago’s notorious housing projects, Cabrini Green.
